RAOS Musical Theatre Company

It all begins with a stage…

A warm welcome to RAOS Musical Theatre Company

The Ripon Operatic Society was founded in 1940. Originally the Society only produced works by Gilbert & Sullivan…but don’t worry - that’s all changed!

With a growing community and an exciting repertoire to our back catalogue we have changed our name to represent who we are today: RAOS Musical Theatre Company!

We have a growing membership of over 150 individuals of all ages, with a rich history of producing musical theatre in both Ripon and Harrogate. Spring performances at Harrogate Theatre and an Autumn fundraising concert at our own venue the Ripon Arts Hub means there is always something happening to get involved with!
RAOS is made up of two talented groups; RAOS the main society for those aged 16-80+, and the Ripon Youth Theatre for  individuals aged 8-18 (click below for more info!)

Perform with us!

We are always interested in new members, and always welcome a helping hand from anyone who wants to be involved in this wonderful community.

We have two types of membership:

RAOS Friend Membership £20
RAOS membership £40

So if you have a passion for musical theatre and would like to get involved on or off stage then click here for membership enquires or click below to sign up straight away!
