Ripon Arts Hub is managed by RAOS Musical Theatre Company (charity number 1200177).
We are small team of volunteers, who work with local performing arts groups as well as producing our own shows and planning a programme of events throughout the year.
THERE’S ALWAYS SOMETHING ON AT THE HUB
Our Facilities

The Main Hall is our black-box theatre space that can accommodate up to 114 people seated in rows. We can provide raised seating or a raised stage, or provide tables for a cabaret style.
The Main Hall is equipped with sound and lighting equipment, with a dedicated booth at the back.

We use the Kitchen and Bar area as a foyer for shows and events in the Main Hall.
The kitchen includes boiler, hob, oven and fridge. The bar provides draft beers, spirits, wine, soft drink and snacks.
The Green Room is a great meeting space for smaller groups.
Toilets, including disabled facilities are available.

The backstage facilities include 2 dressing rooms, toilets and a disabled toilet.
This area is normally used only as a backstage area for shows in the Main Hall.
Accessibility
Step-free access to the Arts Hub is available, and a wheelchair lift is available to provide access to the Main Hall.
There are disabled toilets available from the Bar area and backstage.
It is possible to park directly outside the Arts Hub in the evenings, and two dedicated disabled parking spaces are available further up Allhallowgate, outside the Workhouse Museum.

With accessible lift, and wide doorways, accessible toilets, an onsite kitchen, bar, performance hall with stage and lighting, dressing rooms all available for hire at our Arts Hub make this the perfect space for your event.Our rooms can be hired individually, or as a combination and can include extras such as tech support.
£15 per hour 9am - 5pm
£20 per hour 5pm - midnight
£50 technical operator hire feeFull hire of premises/ Bar requirements will be discussed per hire.

We host live events throughout the year in our wonderful Arts Hub.
Ripon Musical Theatre Company and Ripon Youth Theatre stage regular productions, and we work with partners such as Hilarity Bites, Ripon Theatre Festival, Ripon Live Music and Ripon Charity Pantomime Group to bring a variety of theatrical events all through the year.
